Sunshine School “Earth Moving Event”
Projects starts on June 17, 2009
Sunshine Pre-School & Day Care Center is getting ready to start construction on
their playground. They are changing the concept to a natural play environment.
The Natural Playground company will be at Sunshine School June 17th to start
working for 2 to 4 weeks on this project. They will need volunteers for the
whole project. Sally is looking for youth, and adult groups and individuals that
want to participate in an “Earth Moving Event”, assisting in “earth moving,
building, construction, rock laying, planting and fun working with your neighbor.
We are also looking for:
- Rocks, 2 1/2 ft in diameter and up flat lime stone as well as round
- Flat rocks for walk ways
- Logs 2 ˝ inches in diameter and up, in any length
- Trees, shrubs, perennial plants
- black dirt, road bed fill
- shovels, rakes,& wheel barrels
Please let her know if you would like to help for a day, the whole project, or if you have something you could donate.
